Transportation

Getting To Baltimore
By Car
Downtown Baltimore is located right along I-95 and you can utilize I-395 to arrive in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Car parking can be expensive in downtown Baltimore. Parking at the Renaissance Hotel is $43 per day for Valet and $30 for self-parking. If you are driving we suggest utilizing the following websites for discounted parking. View Information.

By Train
Amtrak offers frequent services into Baltimore. Amtrak service will bring you into Penn Station on Charles Street in Midtown Baltimore. While this Station is over two miles from the Inner Harbor and the Renaissance Hotel, you can take the spur of the light rail system to the convention center, three blocks from the Renaissance Hotel. Some Amtrak trains also stop at the BWI (airport) station which is 12 miles south of the main Penn Station. If you are traveling to Baltimore for the National Conference, use Convention Fare Code X66T-910 to receive a 10% discount off the lowest available rate for travel between May 24th and June 3rd, 2015.

By Plane
The Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) Airport is located approximately 12 miles south of Baltimore and is accessible by car or light rail. Shuttles also connect BWI to an Amtrak train station just off the airport grounds.

Car Rental Companies

BWI has a somewhat unique car rental system. Car rental facilities are located in a centralized facility located away from the airport. Airport shuttle buses must take travelers to and from the facility and it is advisable to plan an extra 10 to 15 minutes to get out of the airport.

Please refer to http://www.bwiairport.com/en/travel/ground-transportation/trans/carrental for a list of available Car Rental Companies available at BWI airport.

Light Rail

You can take the Light Rail into the city from the Airport for about two dollars.

Please refer to http://mta.maryland.gov/light-rail for more information on the light rail schedule and stops.

Super Shuttle

Shuttle service can be provided from BWI airport to the downtown hotels. Please find more information at the following link. View Information.
